I just installed a new chat room. It works well but you need to be registered to the board in order to see the link and use it.

Another nice day.  50% no heat calls...the other 50% no A/C calls.   In limbo. LOL

I dont do AC I never really got into it always been busy enough with heating stuff even in the summer. I need to install central in my new house for the 2nd floor. I used a 2 ton mini split to do my 1st floor and it works well because its all open.  I hate the thoughts of crawling around my attic.. I will probably pay someone to do it for me. im to fat to crawl around up there:hmm

Yeah, some attics are tough for me too.  Ever looked at the Unico System?  Less time to put in and great performance.  I'm looking at one myself.  Can even throw a hydro-coil in it for some added heat in winter.

Well, Unico is not touted as a high velocity system, but I think it is, and it works.  Let's hook up sometime, via chat maybe and talk.

I thought the smaller cieling registers and duct would be alot easier to install. The only thing is I dont want to do it twice if it dosnt work that well :(

I have never re-done a Unico system.  It is perfect the first time, or you can add or reduce outlets, way easier than traditional ducting.

I think Im going to go the conventional route. The cost of HV is high and I don't know enough about it to risk it in my own house
