Hello to All,
This is my first post to this board.
I have a Burnham v-13A that is about 15 years old.
Today, my oil company came for the annual cleaning.
The service man told me I need a new chamber.
He said it could cause some MAJOR problems done the line (smoke, etc)
Okay, I have no idea what a chamber is for, and what the anticipated cost of replacement should be.
I am waitring to call the oil company hoping someone can educate me a little.
Thanks,
Barbara

A chamber is a Fire Box or the lining in the boiler that the fire shoots into. It is a common problem. Shouldnt be more than 2-3 hundred dollars to replace. Good luck
