It is amazing to see a forum on boilers that seems to center on burnham boiler failures, then turn around and knock system 2000 boilers. It shows that some so called experts are stuck in the past still forcing people to believe cast-iron is king!!!

How absurd, how many Cracked system 2000 have you seen how many leaking gaskets, how does the cast iron react to chilled return water. ever hear of thermal shock???? what is the flue travel lenth of your cast iron boiler??? system 2000 ek-1 has 10 feet does your cast iron have 90 lbs of insulation??? The only place i would use a cast iron boiler would be on residential home and i would insist on (2) low water cutoffs !!!!

Boneup on your technical knowledge before giving "poor advice" j.m.h.o.:bn
